Are you looking for a great multitool to carry around in your everyday life?
If you are, then pay attention to this review because this might be the multitool for you!
Being in the military, I always carried a multitool wherever I went because you never know what might need a little fixing or cutting.
These little things work so well and you’ll use it more than you know if you actually have one on you.
This Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier is one that I purchased a while back, not because it was great in price, but the Gerber brand is one that could be trusted.
So if you want to know if this tool is worth the money, then please follow along with this review!
Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier Overview
The Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier is a multitool that comes with 12 integrated components.
This little fella is not only equipped with what you need in a multitool, but it is also very lightweight making it easy to bring around.
There are two different knives you could choose from within this little tool, you could either use the straight blade for all those fine-tune cutting, or you could use the serrated blade.
Like many of the other multitools you see in stores, this one does have a Phillips screwdriver that you could find in a large and medium screwdriver.
You could also find a dedicated wire cutter/stripper, just in case you run into one of those moments that calls for one.
One of my favorite things about this tool, is that it has a needle-nose plier rather than one of those bulky squared pliers that’s hard to fit into tight places.
When the tool is opened it’s about 6″ in length and opens in a butterfly affect, and when it’s closed it’s about 3.5″ in length weighing at 9.0 oz.
It’s not one of those noticeable tools when you’re carrying it on your waste or whatnot, so sometimes you forget its even there.
The Price To Get One
The list price for this Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier will run you anywhere around $50, but if you get it off of Amazon here, you could snag one for about $26.84 (as of 05/30/2018 – MST).
As you can see, this tool is very cost efficient and will provide you with what you will need in your everyday life.
Personally, Gerber is a great brand and one that I trust, so I think it’s well worth the price.
When it comes to multitools, you really need something that will not break completing little tasks, and with the Gerber Suspension I feel this tool will get the job done and some.
The only thing I had a problem with was the carrying pouch, it was somewhat cheap and didn’t last too long and started to rip.
Overall, the tool itself is great and I do recommend it for those who are in search of an affordable multitool.
I hope you enjoyed this little review and found it of some help.
