Are you wondering if you should get the Timbuk2 Spire Backpack?
In this review I have prepared for you today, I’m going to give you some reasons why you should get this backpack.
So without taking up too much of your time here, lets just get straight into the Timbuk2 Spire Backpack!
Timbuk2 Spire Backpack Overview
The Timbuk2 Spire Backpack is a 30L roll-top pack that could hold up to a 15″ MacBook Pro and an iPad Pro.
There’s separate sleeves within the pack where you could place your laptop and your iPad which helps so you’re not stacking them right on top of each other.
Another thing that you will notice with the Spire Backpack, is that it has YKK zippers all around helping you have that sense of ease that you will not face a broken zipper.
You could use this pack for any adventure you go on, whether it be to work, the gym, on your bike, or to Southeast Asia, this pack is ready for anything.
It is water resistant, so if you happen to get caught in the rain, your valuables will be protected.
I didn’t say it’s completely waterproof, so don’t go submerging it into water! LOL!
Some other things you might like about this bag, is the fact that it could hold a lot of your valuables.
So if you’re planning to use this pack for college, it will work out perfectly because you could fit your books, a jacket, your laptop, and there’s some room for organization like pen holders and other stuff like that.
It’s just a pretty spacious pack overall, so you could use it for whatever you please!
The reason why it’s extra spacious, is for the reason of it being a roll-top backpack, so it gives you that extra room you need by just unrolling the bag for the amount of extra space it is you need.
The Price For The Spire Backpack
If you wanted to get yourself one of the Spire Backpacks, you could find it on Amazon for just $99 (as of 07/20/2018 – MST).
You could find the backpack in Black or Surplus.
Both great colors, so you could find one that you think will fit your style more!
What I Like About This Backpack
What I really like most about the Spire Backpack, is the fact that it has tons of room to fit whatever it is I need.
You could use this pack as a single travel bag on a 3 day trip if you wanted to, then transform it into your everyday carry once you land.
It just works great in any situation!
As I mentioned earlier, if you attend college, this bag will be great to help you fit everything you need and more.
Another thing I like about this bag is the outside water bottle pocket.
We all know how important it is to stay hydrated, so having a water bottle pocket feature is great.
Now one thing you will really like about this bag, of course is the material being water resistant.
It just gives you that sense of not having to worry about your important things getting all wet if you happen to get caught in the rain.
As for the looks, I really dig this bag and could see it being used in any environment, even at your workplace.
What I Don’t Like About It
There’s really nothing too bad about this bag, just some personal flaws I guess you could say.
My first flaw is the lack of organization, I guess with it being a roll-top backpack, there’s not too much organization things you could add to it.
If it had a little more organization going on, then this pack will be perfect!
The last gripe I have with the Spire Pack is the material.
I don’t know, but there’s just something about the material that doesn’t seem tough and long lasting.
Not like the WANDRD Prvke, it’s a super tough roll-top backpack and has tons of space just like the Spire Pack.
Those are the little things I don’t like about the bag, but again, it’s my personal opinion, some of you might not care about more organization or whatnot.
Is It Worth Buying?
If you want my honest opinion here, then I would have to say the Spire Backpack is worth the $99.
For the solid look and tons of space you could get out of it, I would say it’s well worth every penny.
And just so you know, this pack is made in the United States.
My Final Recommendation For You
If you’re looking for a great all around everyday carry backpack at an affordable price, then the Timbuk2 Spire is the way to go.
All great bags and ones you would want to add to your bag collection!
